Happy Thanksgiving!

… and Happy Holidays!

Just wanted to post a quick note to say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! This has been an extremely eventful year for me from ups to downs to back up again, but in the end giving me much to thank everyone for.

I hope you are all having a happy thanksgiving weekend and will all feel refreshed when getting back to everyday life next week.

To all of my family and friends: you are all in my thoughts and prayers and I wish you the best for the holidays! I hope to talk to you all soon.

Wise Thoughts (?)

I seem to be stuck on quotes from Einstein, but I must admit, he is usually right.…

The dog is very smart. He feels sorry for me because I receive so much mail; that’s why he tries to bite the mailman.

I don’t know [what weapons will be used in the third world war]. But I can tell you what they’ll use in the fourth — rocks!

Evolution Upheaval

Ah, there is always a little good news out there. Here is a little quote:

Voters came down hard Tuesday on school board members who backed a statement on intelligent design being read in biology class, ousting eight Republicans and replacing them with Democrats who want the concept stripped from the science curriculum.

Busy Times Return

Way too much to do …
But better than having nothing!

Well, I am back at work. Thank goodness! I am now the Web Administrator for Buca, Inc., the parent company of Buca di Beppo (Italian Restaurant). And, I must say, I am having a blast. The place is fun to work at and offers some nice perks that make the time and the days move on by.

On top of being back at work full-time, I am also working as a music director for a brass ensemble (the Black & Tan) and I am performing in two additional groups. Right now, I am in the middle of a performance run of “Bye Bye Birdie” with the Morris Park Player (Minneapolis, Minnesota). Like I said, busy!

As a result, my web log is out of date and this quick entry will not make up for that. But here are a couple things I wanted to note for myself to look at and I figured others might find them interesting too. Back soon!

And here is a nice quote from Einstein:

The mystical trend of our present time, especially evident in the enthusiatic growth of so-called theosophy and spiritualism, is to me a symptom of confusion and weakness.
